STAFF at Kids Planet Head Office in Lymm have helped raise £4,000 for cancer support charity, Mummy’s Star.
It follows the Kids Planet’s Awards ceremony held at Manchester Central at a Hollywood glam-themed event, where teams contributed towards the charity as their ticket price, and took part in a raffle, for all donations to go towards Mummy’s Star.
Mummy’s Star is a national charity dedicated to women and birthing people diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within 12 months of giving birth, and their families.
Clare Roberts, CEO at Kids Planet, said: “We’re delighted to say that as a group we’ve raised £4000 which will go towards supporting mums and birthing parents diagnosed with cancer in or around pregnancy.
Mummy’s Star is a cause that as a company we are incredibly passionate about, for a charity that changes and supports the lives of so many.”
