THE spirit of Christmas has come to Warrington Market this December, with 40 prizes up for grabs in a collaboration between the council and market traders.
Visitors to the popular award-winning market are being invited to pick up an entry form from any of the stalls throughout December until Christmas Eve. Winners will then be given an opportunity to open a door to a ‘Giant Advent Calendar’ on display inside the market, to reveal a daily mystery prize.
A representative from the Market Traders Association said; “Traders have kindly donated some fabulous prizes, ranging from food and drink in Cookhouse, to a family sized Turkey, specialist food hampers, gifts and keepsakes, to clothing, hair and beauty services and even a free eye examination from our resident optometrist, plus much more. It’s a great way to say thank you to our customers for their continual support, whilst showcasing the amazing breadth of independent businesses we have at Warrington Market”.
Traders are anticipating a high level of interest in the Christmas promotion and have set a limit of one entry per customer, per postcode, per day, to provide all visitors with a fair chance of winning of the daily prizes on offer.
Entry forms are located on stalls throughout the market.
