SEVERAL staff members from Keate House Residential Home, Lymm attended the prestigious regional Great British Care Awards at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.

The evening was marked by jubilation as Keate House received not just one, but four nominations, culminating in a remarkable victory for Cameron Rowe in the Ancillary Worker category.

Cameron Rowe’s win in the Ancillary Worker award category is a testament to his unwavering dedication and exceptional contributions to Keate House Residential Home. Having joined as a Care Assistant in 2017, Cameron’s journey showcases an inspiring trajectory, marked by professional growth and commitment to the well-being of residents.  Cameron’s accomplishments include completing the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting and rising to the role of the home’s Account Manager. His transition from a frontline caregiver to a managerial role highlights his versatility and commitment to enhancing the overall care experience at Keate House.  What sets Cameron apart is not only his professional acumen but also his extraordinary efforts to create a warm and engaging environment for the residents. Stepping beyond the confines of his office, Cameron has embraced roles ranging from Father Christmas to the Grinch, and even the persona of Keate House’s own drag queen, ‘Maddy Cation.’
