A Festival of Remembrance hosted by 1330 (Warrington) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets took place at St Elphin’s Parish Church last night (Saturday) providing a touching tribute to the service and sacrifices of our armed forces.
The festival provided a poignant evening filled with musical performances by Warrington Male Voice Choir, Warrington Brass Band and St Elphins Primary School.
There were also moving readings and a solemn moment of silence during the wreath-laying ceremony. A reflection of the past, the event brings the community together in remembrance and appreciation of those who have dedicated their lives to our nation.
Commanding Officer of the 1330 Squadron, Flt Lt Alan Radcliffe, said: “This festival is not just a tribute but also a reminder of the value of peace and the hope for a better future.”
