Casualty airlifted to hospital after leg trapped in tractor machinery

FOUR fire crews, including a rapid response vehicle, were called out to reports of a casualty trapped by the leg in tractor machinery at Appleton Thorn, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.

At 13:16 crews from Lymm, Warrington and Winsford and the rapid response vehicle were called out to Arley Road, Appleton Thorn.

The crews were called to assist with a casualty who was trapped by the leg in tractor machinery.

Airbags and spreaders were used to release the casualty who was taken to hospital by Helimed.
