WARRINGTON based Arch & Wood, a specialist Groundwork and Construction Contractor, is delighted to be taking part in the popular television show DIY SOS for their Children in Need special due to air later this year.

Works commenced last week at the Treetops Hospice in Derbyshire, with the team embarking on constructing a brand new counselling & therapy unit in just ten days! The specialist unit will offer vital help and support to children and young adults directly affected by bereavement and grief.

“We are thrilled to be part of this project alongside DIY SOS and Children in Need. It’s a worthwhile cause, and the centre will make a huge difference in the lives of children and families who need it most,” said Dan Davidson from Arch & Wood. “Our team have been so excited to get cracking, and as a company, we are very proud of their dedication and efforts working long days and away from home to deliver the project.”

DIY SOS is renowned for its heartwarming stories and incredible home transformations, rallying communities and businesses to come together and create life-changing spaces. Arch & Wood is honoured to be part of this project, offering its expertise and resources free of charge to deliver a building which will help generations of children and young adults for years to come.

“When the opportunity came to support the DIY SOS Children in Need special, we couldn’t say no. As somebody who lost my father earlier this year and has been going through the grieving process, the fact that we were helping out with a special unit for bereaved children has struck a chord with me, and I’m very proud we’re part of the project.” – Steven Chantler from Arch & Wood

As a trusted name in the construction industry, Arch & Wood brings years of experience and a talented team of professionals. Their commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to client satisfaction perfectly complement the ethos of DIY SOS.
