TWO second half goals from Mo Touray got Warrington Rylands’ season up and running as they won 2-0 away last night at Stafford Rangers.

Rylands were on top from the kick off with all the play in and around the Stafford penalty area. In the opening minutes Adama Sidibeh drew a good save from Stafford goalkeeper Cameron Belford, and captain James Neild finding the side netting from a tight angle.
As the first half developed the home side started to push Rylands back limiting hem to shooting from distance with Joe Piggott, Ben Hardcastle, Touray and Sidibeh all firing in shots.

Before the half time break the home side had offered little threat but started the second half by forcing Rylands goalkeeper Luke Pilling into a couple of good saves and James Butler had to block a goal bound shot from close range.
Belford pulled off a great save in tipping a Touray shot over the bar in the 73rd minute but was unable to stop the Rylands man from breaking the deadlock three minutes later.

Stafford gave the ball away on the half way line; Rylands quickly moved it forward to Touray who drilled the ball into the bottom corner of the net from outside the area.
in the closing stages the home side launched a series of attacks on the Rylands goal which were repelled by resolute blue shirted defenders, although they did get the ball in the Rylands net in the 85th minute. However, the goal was disallowed as the referee ruled Pilling had been fouled whilst attempting to take a free kick played into the box.

The points were made safe when moments after he had been named the home side’s man of the match Belford gifted Rylands their second goal deep into stoppage time.
With all of his team mates up field in search of an equalizer Belford received the ball from a throw in on the half way line; his attempted hoof towards the opposition penalty area was blocked by Touray who chased the rebound to tap the ball into an empty net.
