National accolades and recognition for Care at Home Group

WARRINGTON-based Care at Home Group is celebrating two prestigious industry accolades.

They have been declared one of the Top 20 Rated Home Care Groups in Britain by homecare.co.uk and have reached the finals of the SME National Business Awards 2023 in the High Growth Business of the Year Category.

This year has shaped into a highly successful year for the customer focussed business. Earlier this year they announced that the CQC had rated their services in Warrington as Good and they have just announced that they have won the contract to provide domiciliary care services to St Helens residents following a thorough and exacting bid process.

CEO Karl Jacobie acquired what was a struggling business in 2019 and transformed it through dynamic management and radical look at the way in which the care industry works. Karl’s ethos is that care must always be customer first and that exemplary care comes through trained, well rewarded, empowered, happy staff.
The listing in the Top 20 Rated Home Care Groups in Britain by homecare.co.uk is based on a study of verified published reviews by clients, their friends and family. Homecare.co.uk analysed the reviews along with ratings received to score each company. Analysis took place based on data up to 31 May 2023.

The SME National Business Awards are now in their seventh year and reaching the finals in the High Growth Business of the Year marks very high praise. The judging process is independent, unbiased and rigorous. Each application is scored by up to four different judges, all applications are seen by different members of the judging panel. Winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony being held at Wembley Stadium on 1 December.
The SME National Business Awards are one of the most sought-after awards for SMEs and provide a great opportunity to bring the thriving business community from around the nation together to celebrate their success and shine a spotlight on their achievements over the last 12 months.

Managing Director of Care at Home Group, Sharon Lindley (pictured) commented,‘We are not a company that is normally speechless, but to receive this level of recognition we are without words. To acknowledge everyone involved in achieving this would take a million thank you’s, but you know who you are. We often forget on our journey the people that have impacted this recognition. “The strategy masters that drive the business, the office teams that keep the cogs turning smoothly, and most importantly our care teams that bring smiles, and support in abundance. We also have a larger circle to thank, from commissioners, professionals, families, friends to that Just Eat guy, who never fails with the late-night meals to keep us going.
“We made a conscious decision post the pandemic, to come out fighting with positivity. The team were ready to be fun again and were motivated to make us an employer and provider of choice. You will probably hear lots of providers reference their success to planning, strategies, consultancy, our success is simply down to listening. We listened to our team, and our clients in how to build something amazing and we truly believe we have.
“Reflection is a wonderful thing, and to look back on our 5-year journey brings nothing but a smile to our faces. We have one value at Care at Home Group which is WE CARE, so to receive this recognition it is evidence that we do.”
