THE debut electro-acoustic music festival at The Cheshire Cheese pub in Latchford, Warrington takes place on the 29th July.

Manager Alex Wright admits to being a “a bit nervous ” but has hopefully laid the foundations for a successful event.

A brand new outdoor stage is nearly complete with just the fibre glass roof to be installed, and the garden area is being rearranged to accommodate the lucky 300 revellers who managed to purchase a wristband during the one week sellout period!!
For the event Alex has arranged additional outdoor toilets, a limited bar outside with the full bar inside and plenty of food on offer from Nits Thai Food Takeaway, Debs Food Van and local festival sponsor – The Dining Room in the garden area. The line-up is confirmed with some excellent talent and even a few musicians attending from further afield who played at Warrington’s recent Music Fest in June, so let’s hope the weather is kind.

The Cheshire Cheese also hosts comedy nights in its upstairs function room and recently held a successful punk night and you will find bands or solo artists playing every Saturday. Alex further revealed plans to convert the current pool room into a snug with open fires for the increasing amount of diners, and with an external paintwork refresh and new signage this is good news for Latchford Village. Let’s hope that Cheesefields gets the credit it deserves and becomes an annual event on the live music calendar. Warrington Worldwide Magazine will be in attendance and are looking forward to it.

Barmaid Dani is pictured wearing the festival t-shirts which will be on sale for £20.
