THE annual Stockton Heath Festival weekend runs from Thursday 29th June to Sunday 2nd July, celebrating art, culture, history, music, storytelling and much, much more.
There are many free community events, and for others tickets are on sale from Eventbrite or the Festival website, 26th May at 10am. Booking is recommended for paid events as some sell out early.
Five Festival highlights
1. Laughter
There are plenty of laughs to be had at the Comedy Night on Thursday night, and Paulus (from the BBC) is bringing a musical tribute to the much-loved Victoria Wood on Friday night.
2. Walking through history
Choose from various walks and talks uncovering fascinating tales of how people lived in the region from Roman times to present day, and join a session to meet local writers.

Be inspired by the Art Exhibition and competition in St Thomas’ Church in the heart of the Village, or take part in workshops and craft sessions, Sublime Science for children as seen on Dragon’s Den, and tasters including sport and dance at Stockton Heath Does Strictly.
