RESIDENTS across Warrington celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III, with a right Royal knees up at street parties across the town, with more taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend.

A familiar face on Hill Top Road, Woolston, Ray and his wife Fran, who have been involved with the famous Hill Top Christmas decorations for many years, put up street of bunting and Union Flags at every house on the road.

Despite overcast skies and the occasional downpour residents didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits.

Our pictures show residents enjoying the occasion on Hill Top Road, Woolston, Albany Road at Lymm and Grappenhall Heys.
