COMMUNITY groups and organisations have rallied to collect items for Warrington Foodbank for vulnerable families and those in need this Christmas.

Poulton and Fearnhead Parish Council, Christ Church CE Primary School, Rylands ARLFC, Rylands Matters ARLFC and Warrington Knights, worked in collaboration to support vulnerable families across Warrington.

Various items including groceries, festive items, clothing and household goods were dropped off at Christ Church CofE School at the weekend, for distribution via Warrington Foodbank to those vulnerable families, finding it hard to provide essential items.
Those pictured involved include Wes Nolan, Chairman of Rylands ARLFC, Liam Kirkham representing Warrington Knights Touch Rugby & Rylands Masters RL, Kate Kirkham, Assistant Head Teacher, Christ Church CofE School, Jean Haynes and Jan Martin, teaching assistants, Christ Church CofE School, Abigail Colquhoun, year one student and helper all day and Lucas-Ryan Smallbone, year 5 student and Rylands ARLFC player who was first to arrive and spent his own gift voucher in food for the appeal – well done Lucas!
