Four more COVID-19 related deaths with little movement in infection rates and hospital admissions

WHILE four more COVID-19-related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since last week,  there has been little movement in infection rates and hospital admissions.

New infection rates reported in all areas of Warrington remain in single figures, while hospital inpatient numbers have risen slightly from 18-21.

The 74 cases week ending November 19 compared to 75 cases in the week ending November 12 , compared to 100 the previous week and 131 the week before that. While there have been four more COVID-19-related hospital deaths since last week, inpatient numbers have risen from 18-21,  with 18 (25) patients discharged since last Thursday.

Current inpatients as of Thursday, November 24,  2022, compared to Thursday, November 17 (confirmed positive result – 14 days or less from first positive sample) – 21 (18) including 0 (0) in ICU.

*The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 703 – 335.7 per 100,000 population compared to the national rate of 305.8.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England in all settings is 737 – 352 per 100,000.

There have been (100) COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days taking the total to 84,307  (83,956) – 77,723 (77,672)  1st infections, 6,314 (6,284) second and an infection rate of 35.3 (35.8) per 100,000 which has fallen after last week’s rise compared to a rate of 36.4 (36.4) for England which has also fallen.

  1. I can’t believe you’re still pushing the scaremongering.
    How many that died were vaccinated?
    Age of the people who died?
    Did they go in for a Covid related illness or just test positive later on?

    If you’re going to report on Covid deaths, at least give us some information instead of keeping people in fear. Try reporting on the excess deaths due to missed treatment/diagnosys.
