HATS off to the ELO Experience for delivering a dazzling performance at Warrington Parr Hall.
This tribute act to one of the greatest Pop rock bands of all time, certainly deliver the goods, both musically and visually – and what better venue than the compact Parr Hall.
With a near-sell-out crowd – I was on the back row of the stalls – this show had everything. I’d heard good reports from their first visit last year and I am sure if they return again next year – the sold out signs will be going up as word spreads.
It was certainly a show to lift the spirits – which were well and truly lifted long before everyone’s favorite, “Mr Blue Sky” concluded proceedings!
The band, complete with a strings section hails from Liverpool and Widnes, so hopefully, Warrington will always feature on their tour schedule.
With a set list including the likes of Evil Woman, The Diary of Horace Wimp, Livin’ Thing, Xanadu, Turn to Stone and Rockaria, it is just hit after hit.
I’ll certainly be back for more if they return next year or any time soon!
What a fab night with the #ELO Experience @PyramidParrHall – no better venue for this kind of gig! Electric atmosphere, great lighting, fantastic sound and an ultimate tribute night! Certainly lifted the blues infringe if a sell out audience! pic.twitter.com/nTdzvtUsKM
