The Eric Moore Partnership Medical Practice was rated outstanding following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in June.

Dr Alagu Rajkumar’s practice in Orford Jubilee Park and the Medicentre in Warrington, was found to be a service where people benefitted from “outstanding care”.

Commenting on the report Carl Marsh, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside’s Place Director for Warrington, said: “I’m delighted that the Care Quality Commission has rated Eric Moore Partnership Medical Practice as outstanding, recognising the fantastic work being done by its staff to provide local residents with the highest standards of care.

Our practice’s clinical and administrative teams have worked diligently through the pandemic in supporting the needs of our practice patients. I am particularly pleased that the CQC report has highlighted and praised the dedicated support we have given to our most vulnerable, frail, serious mental health and hard to reach sections of our society all through this pandemic and prior. Our incredibly supportive patients and patient participation group have also been a major influence in the development of our clinics and services”.

Julie McCann, Eric Moore Partnership Medical practice Senior Practice Manager, said: “At a time when General Practice in the NHS and their teams are under immense pressure like never ever seen before, such accolades are a positive reinforcement that high-quality General Practice services continues to thrive and also remains the bedrock that supports our wider Health and Social Care services.”

The Eric Moore Partnership has always worked in partnership with patients across all of its services. As “Patient Partners”, we have ensured that our practice’s continuing development remained patient focussed. Our PPG has worked in partnership with the practice on all major innovative patient centred developments including digital services developments, patient surveys, and we even worked with the architects to help design the new patient-friendly modern world-class facility, the Medicentre Warrington that houses the main branch of the practice. We look forward to continuing to work together to support our most valued practice teams”.
