Motorists urged to check vehicles following increase in car fires

FIREFIGHTERS are warning motorists in Warrington to check over the maintenance of their vehicles following an increase in calls to car fires in recent weeks.

The latest incident at Latchford, yesterday, resulted in gridlock across the area as firefighters tackled the blaze.
Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.

  1. Its not vehicle maintenance that’s the problem it’s the new e10 fuel. It was thrown out years ago ( circa 2010 ) when it was to introduced as car manufacturers and RAC, AA found it to be corrosive to pipes and tubes and warned this could happen .
