“Climate Cafe” will host discussion on saving the climate

STOCKTON Heath Parish Council is holding a “Climate Café” on Saturday, May 14 – to discuss ways to tackle climate change locally.

The event will take place at The Pavilion, in Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath between 12 noon and 3pm.
There is no charge and no need to book. Everyone will be welcome to attend, although children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

A spokesperson for the parish council said: “There will be an opportunity to talk over climate issues, what is worrying us and what we can do together as a community…”
Art-based activities suitable for children will b e laid on and there will be drinks and biscuits available.
People attending are also invited to take a picnic.

The spokesperson added: “Join us for a drink and a chat about how we can come together for the love of the planet.”
