THE latest COVID-19 small area data for Warrington shows infection rates have fallen significantly in many areas of the town, with only one area seeing an increase, with a total of 979 new cases for the week ending April 9.
The only area to see any increase was Houghton Green & Fearnhead increasing slightly from 45-49.
There were a total of 979 new cases week ending April, compared to 1,655 the previous week and 2,137 the week before that.
