Shocking images reveal youngsters putting their lives at risk on former railway bridge

POLICE are urging youngsters to stop the dangerous activity of climbing along the edge of a former railway bridge at Grappenhall, Warrington, putting themselves at risk.

A number of children have been seen climbing on the bridge that runs over Bradshaw Lane, Grappenhall.

Local police have released shocking images of youngsters climbing along the bridge on social media saying it is “very dangerous and needs to stop immediately”.

Extra attention will be given to the area. It follows on from previous reports of youths throwing stones from the bridge onto the road below.
