TWO more COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington hospital, although infection rates are continuing to fall in the town with 108 new cases.
A total of 108 (118) COVID-19 cases were reported by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases recorded in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 66,481 (66,373).
Infection rate figures over a seven-day period have fallen again to 872 (904) – 416.4 (431.7) per 100,000 population and remain below the national average of 565 (592.5) per 100,000 which continue to fall.
While one more death has been reported at the hospital, inpatient numbers have fallen slightly from 63-60, including one in ICU, while seven patients were discharged.
