THE Stranglers sellout show postponed at Warrington’s Parr Hall last night due to illness in the band, has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 27.
It is the third time the show at Warrington has had to be postponed, with previous dates in 2020 and 2021 called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The band has moved quickly to reschedule the postponed dates and now aim to take to the stage in Warrington on Sunday, February 27. All tickets remain valid.
In a statement yesterday, it was announced: “Due to illness in the band we have no alternative but to postpone the next 3 dates on the UK tour, therefore Warrington (7th Feb), Nottingham (8th Feb) and Cardiff (10th Feb) are being rescheduled.
“At present, we aim to resume the tour in Manchester this Friday 11th Feb. We will endeavour to reschedule the postponed gigs in the next 24 hours.
“Please keep an eye on our social media for regular updates on this situation and apologies for these late changes.”
While many fans were left disappointed they have been wishing the band members who are ill, a speedy recovery on social media.
The current tour is the bands last full tour.
