Latchford man who handled stolen goods receives suspended prison sentence and told to pay £3,830 compensation

A Latchford man who admitted two offences of handling stolen goods has received a suspended prison sentence and been ordered to pay £3,830 compensation to one of his victims.

Dale Simpson, aged 32, of Clarke Avenue, Latchford has appeared this morning at Crewe Magistrates Court, after being arrested yesterday and remanded in police custody overnight.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of Handling Stolen Goods in Appleton and Runcorn.

He has been sentenced to 20 weeks imprisonment, suspended for a period of two years and ordered to compensate the victim for their loss to the value of £3,830.
