St Rocco’s “Tree of Life” – a new way to remember a loved-one

0

A “TREE of Life” has been created at Warrington’s St Rocco’s Hospice – giving families a new way to remember a loved one.

The custom-designed tree of life is located in the hospice reception area in a wide alcove, covering three walls.

It will allow relatives to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one by having a leaf engraved with their name and a short message.

Three types of leaf are available in three colours – white gold, rose gold and yellow gold. In total the tree can hold 450 of the acrylic leaves.

A leaf can stay on the tree permanently but there is a minimum sign-up period of one year.

At the end of the time, the leaf is returned to the family in a gift box so it can be kept as a permanent memory of a love one.

Visitors will be able to view the tree during normal hospice opening hours, currently Monday to Friday 9am-5pm..

Further information can be obtained from the hospice website or by calling St. Rocco’s Support Care on 01925 575780
