NEW COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington are continuing to plateau with 216 new cases in the latest daily data.
The 216 (206) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 58,537 (58,321).
Infection rates over a seven-day period have fallen marginally again to 1,982 (1,987) – 946.5 (948.9) per 100,000 population which are still above the national average of 925.3 (922.4) per 100,000, which have risen marginally again for the second time in three days.
