POLICE have made an arrest following thefts from vehicles in the Appleton and Stretton areas of Warrington.
The male was arrested by Police for a series of theft from motor vehicles, including ones in Stretton and Appleton, and bailed for further enquiries, however he was also charged with some other matters and remanded in custody.
Vehicles have recently been targetted on Dingleway, Pewterspear Green Road, Burfield Drive, and Cambridge Gardens in Appleton and Swinley Forest Drive and Fulford Close in Stretton
A CCTV image was issued by police showing a male wearing a yellow high-visibility vest as they warned residents to be vigilant.
Police confirmed at the time that no cars were forced open and no damage was caused. It is unclear if any type of device was used to open the doors, but it is likely that in most of the cases, doors were left unlocked.
Thefts and attempted thefts were made from vehicles on the 20th of January.
