Five miles of congestion following serious collision on M56 at Stretton

A serious collision involving an overturned vehicle on the M56 at Stretton resulted in five miles of congestion this morning.

Traffic was unable to exit the motorway at Junction 10 heading East following the collision at around 7.20am.

The incident caused congestion to junction 11 Preston Brook.

Traffic came to a standstill between 7:20 and 7:35am, but all lanes have now reopened.
