MEMBERS of Lymm Parish Council’s Full Council have unanimously decided not to hold ‘Carols from The Cross’ in the centre of the village for a second consecutive year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Government’s introduction of Covid Plan B measures on 8th December 2021 made the practical and safe delivery of the event insurmountable.

Instead, the partnership with Lymm Radio it will once again be a virtual event on Christmas Eve. A special Carols show will be available from 7pm on the night with the usual voices, carols and festive songs.

Town Crier Peter Powell, Chairman of the Parish Council, Robert Barr and St Mary’s Reverend, Bev Jameson, along with Warrington Brass Band will all be part of the show.

Listeners are encouraged to sing along and share photos directly with Lymm Radio.
