THREE farms at Penketh, Warrington will be spreading the Christmas Spirit in the village and also raising money for charity.
Hollys Farm, Ditchfield Farm and Fowl Farm will start touring the local streets from Thursday (December 16) with festive floats pulled by tractors.
Local businesses are backing the event with sponsorship and with bucket collections in aid of Moobs and Boobs – the Warrington and Halton Breast Cancer charity.
Route on the opening night (Thursday) will be down Warrington road, Old Liverpool Road, Liverpool Road. down the dual carriageway, resting outside the Woodies, Station Road, Park Road and also trying to cover Southwold Crescent/Hadleigh/Elmsett Close and heading home down Mary’s Road. Jireh Church will be serving free hot drinks on the car park
The procession will be out again on Saturday, December 18, Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd. It is hoped to add more roads to the route on these nights.
