Legendary Drifters set to play at Parr Hall

A LEGENDARY group behind some of the most popular songs of modern times is calling in at Warrington’s Parr Hall next year.

The Drifters will be performing nothing but the real classics at the Palmyra Square venue on Saturday, April 30.

Behind unforgettable hits like Under the Boardwalk and Saturday Night at the Movies, the band’s music – that goes back six decades – has truly passed the test of time.
In their sparkling career, The Drifters have also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, performed for the President of the United States and have been listed among the greatest artists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Now in their 65th anniversary year, the group are back on the road with a line-up handpicked by Tina Treadwell, President of the Treadwell Entertainment Group and owner of The Drifters name.

Tina, who previously worked for Disney as a casting director and executive producer, believes the current line-up is one of the best to date.
She said: “I am very excited that now in our 65th anniversary year we have a new show for the fans who we invite to join us in celebrating this incredible and everlasting story of The Drifters.”
