LATCHFORD Albion enjoyed a successful evening at the annual Warrington Man of Steel awards held at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Firstly Tony Gandy was given the Warrington Community Unsung Hero award for his contributions to Rugby League spanning more than 40 years.
Alan Daintith was also rewarded, and received the Community Hero Award for his continued contributions not just to Latchford, but to the whole amateur Rugby League scene in the Warrington area.
The highlight of the evening came when to Charlie McCurrie received the most important award of the evening, when he was named Warrington Amateur Rugby League Man of Steel – a fully deserved award, given his performances in Albion’s 2021 title winning season.
