Two week road closure at Padgate for new sewer connection

A two-week road closure will come into force at Padgate on Monday, December 6, while work takes place on a new sewer connection.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cinnamon Lane from its junction with Enfield Park Road to its junction with Parkfields Lane.

The Order will be effective from 6th December 2021 for two weeks, when signed on site.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Enfield Park Road, Blackbrook Avenue, Insall Road and vice versa or via Enfield Park Road, Crab Lane, Fearnhead Lane and vice versa.

The closure is required to allow for the installation of a new sewer connection.
