PLANS have been submitted to convert a former Warrington pub into a restaurant.
The scheme involves the old Coach and Horses, in Old Liverpool Road, which has been closed for some time and was offered for sale last year.
The Victorian-style building is not listed and stands only a few yards from a railway line, which runs behind the building.
Plans now being considered by the borough council involving conversion of the disused pub and outbuildings to a restaurant.
A former beer garden will be used to site a proposed kitchen area in a grey, aluminum portable structure.
The first floor of the building would be used for storage purposes.
