WARRINGTON’S fluctuating COVID-19 infection rates have fallen with 103 new cases confirmed in the town in the latest daily data.
The 103 (124) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 37,039 (36,936).
Infection rates in Warrington have risen again slightly to 753 (767) – 359.6 (366.3) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period but remain below the national average of 403.1 (403) per 100,000, which have increased marginally again.
COVID-19 inpatient numbers at Warrington Hospital have fallen again from 22-14 while six patients have been discharged in the past 24 hours.
