DESPITE the cancellation of planned live events over the past two summers, the Lymm Festival team were thrilled to re-schedule and run a couple of popular events recently when the High School and the Rugby Club played host to sell-out audiences for the first part of the ‘Winter Warmers’ series.
Well known personalities including Eddie the Eagle and Justin Moorhouse entertained at these hotly anticipated shows with audience members asking ‘When’s the next event?’.
As a result more of these ‘Winter Warmer’ events will be unveiled over the coming months.
Many Lymm residents believe that there has never been a stronger community spirit as people sought to help and support friends and neighbours during the pandemic.
So, ‘roll on Lymm Festival 2022’ when the community can come together for the ‘buzz’ of live events.
Running from 23 June to 3 July, the programme will feature a great variety of festival and arts entertainment.
As is now customary, the Food Festival will kick off proceedings on Thursday, June 23 with a fantastic choice of street-style foods from around the world.
Festival organisers say they are very lucky to have some of the best caterers and food outlets right in the village.
