One more COVID-19 related death as infection rates plateau in Warrington

ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital over the weekend as infection rates in the town have plateaued with 86 new cases.

The 86 (100) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 35,657 (35,571).

Infection rates in Warrington have plateaued to 873 (872) – 416.9 (416.4) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period and remain slightly above the national average of 391.2 (402.1) per 100,000, which have fallen again.

Current inpatients as of Monday, November 8 (confirmed positive result – 14 days or less from first positive sample) – 35 (33) including 4 (7) in ICU.
