COVID-19 infection rates continue to fall as 130 new cases confirmed in Warrington

COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to fall in Warrington and across the country, with 130 new cases confirmed in the town in the latest daily data.

The 130 (123) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 35,471 (35,341).

Infection rates in Warrington have fallen again after yesterday’s brief rise to 875 (885) – 417.9 (422.6) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period and remain slightly above the national average of 408.7 (412.4) per 100,000, which have fallen again.
