We’re inching closer towards the end of 2022, saying goodbye to another crazy year that has been full of twists and turns, especially with the ever-changing government rules.

For the next two weeks, at least, we’re free to enjoy the chilly season, which is now well underway.

Plenty is going on in Warrington over the autumn season. Keep reading to see what you could do.

Spooky World

Have you really spent a ‘spooky season’ in Warrington if you haven’t been to Spooky World? Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury visited Spooky World in October, so you know if it’s good enough for the celebs, it must be really good. Spooky World has returned in 2021, featuring five thrilling attractions that are sure to have you screaming for your life. There’s just something about Spooky events like this that are a bit too realistic.

Spooky World is easy to find – found on Stretton Road, it’s accessible, and there’s plenty of parking. Beware: this thrill attraction is only for ages 14 and over. It’s open into November, so get your tickets now.

Local Sport

It’s the off-season for the Warrington Wolves. While they aren’t playing any matches, you can still head over to the Halliwell Jones Stadium for a visit – the shop will have all the Wolves merchandise you could want.

If you’re in the area and Warrington Wolves aren’t your thing, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Everton are right down the road. Premier League ticket prices are a wonderful option to take in the unique experience of being part of a roaring crowd while you watch one of the biggest sports in the world.

Additionally, the stadiums themselves offer extensive and awe-inspiring tours, giving you access to dressing rooms, the stands, media rooms, pitch-side, and trophy rooms (some fuller than others!). Each stadium offers what some people feel is a religious experience, even when it’s empty.

Jeepers Creepers: Reborn

Jeepers creepers is an absolutely classic film. Since its release in 2001, it has been a fan favourite, guaranteed to make you jump if you’re watching it for the first time. It’s no surprise then that the new Jeepers Creepers: Reborn is much anticipated. It hit the cinemas on the 28th of October, with many people expected to go to the late-night showings at the cinema.

If you head to the Westbrook Centre – the Odeon Luxe there is the perfect cinema to kickback — and perhaps not relax if you’re not the biggest fan of spooky films — and tickets can be purchased online before you go. Be sure to use a student discount and check the internet for vouchers first – you can save a lot of money!

Plenty is going on over the next few weeks for Autumn, so be sure to get yourself to Warrington if you want some fun. Even if you don’t fancy doing something spooky or not, you’ll definitely be able to find something to do that takes your fancy.
