One more COVID-19 death reported at Warrington Hospital as infection rates continue to fall

WHILE one more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital infection rates are continuing to fall with 114 new cases in the latest data.

The 114 (105) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 34,974 (34,860).

Infection rates in Warrington have fallen again to 897 (945) – 428.4 (451.3) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period but remain slightly above the national average of 416.8 (422.6) per 100,000, which have fallen again for the eighth consecutive day.
While one more death has been reported at the hospital, inpatient numbers have fallen from 38 to 32, with 14 patients discharged.
