Latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as rates fall in most areas but remain high in Lymm

MOST areas of Warrington have seen a fall in new cases of COVID-19 in the latest small area data from Public Health England – although rates remain high in Lymm.

For a fourth consecutive week, the number of new infections in Lymm has remained in three figures, although they have fallen slightly compared to the previous seven days, from 122 to 109.

Meanwhile, six areas of the town have seen an increase in new cases, although the overall trend is down.

The latest data published yesterday, October 28, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have fallen to 1,140 new cases in a seven-day period compared to 1,323 the previous week and 1,136 the week before that.
