ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital over the weekend although infection rates are continuing to fall with 105 new cases in the latest data.
The 105 (137) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 34,860 (34,755).
Infection rates in Warrington have fallen again to 945 (997) – 451.3 (476.1) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period but remain above the national average of 422.6 (435.3) per 100,000, which have fallen again for the seventh day.
Over the weekend, one more patient has died at the hospital taking the total to 553, while there are currently 38 inpatients, of which three are in intensive care. A total of 10 have been discharged since Friday.
