Two fire crews tackle blaze at commercial building

TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of this morning to tackle a blaze at a commercial building in Warrington.

Firefighters from Warrington and Stockton heath attended at the building on Central Avenue Warrington shortly after 2am.

The crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and a large fan to clear the smoke from the property.

Firefighters were detained at the scene for around two hours.
