MEMBERS of the Warrington-based Ascot Mortgages team are busy training for a sponsored walk from Southport to Liverpool in aid of Cancer Research UK.
They will be doing the 9hr walk for cancer research on November 13.
Kevin Gibson from Ascot Mortgages said: “We are appealing to all our friends/family, business partners and customers to support us as we walk from Southport to Liverpool to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
“The last couple of years have been difficult for all of us. But especially the charities that provide valuable support to our community and individuals. A charity cause that is close to our hearts is finding a cure for cancer.
“Members of the Ascot Mortgages team have been directly affected by either the loss of a loved one or them being diagnosed with cancer themselves.
“We are making this 19-mile walk to raise badly needed funds for Cancer Research UK. Hopefully one day there will be a cure for this debilitating disease.”
