PLANNERS at Warrington have given the green light to proposals for a house extension giving a view over a golf course.
The semi-detached house is in Dundee Close, Winwick – and the rear extension will look over the grounds of Poulton Park Golf Club.
Members of the borough council’s development management committee were told the house is in an area of Winwick where the borough council owns the freehold of the majority of properties.
The development will consist of a single-storey rear extension and a part conversion of the existing garage.
No objections were received from Winwick Parish Council, nor from nearby residents.
Planning officers recommended approval and said the development would be acceptable in a residential area.
