A number of speed limit restrictions and road closures will be in place when Neighbourhood Weekender returns to Victoria Park in Latchford from Friday 3 September to Sunday 5 September.

Road closures and temporary diversions signs will be erected near the site for the duration of the festival and access to the site will be under the control of the event organiser.

Residents are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the road closures ahead of the weekend and to keep in mind that traffic may be slower as the festival sets up in the coming weeks.
Parts of Victoria Park will be closed to the public, including the car park and football fields, while the remainder of the park will still be available to use.
Road closures and restrictions
Festival attendees will be directed to enter the park from Knutsford Road. Those attending the festival by vehicle will use pre-booked car parking spaces at Sir Thomas Boteler High School.

Immediately following the festival, Knutsford Road will be temporarily closed between 10.20pm and 11.30pm at the end of each day to allow festival attendees to leave the area quickly and safely. There will be additional managed closures on Bridgefoot roundabout to enable people to safely cross the road and move away from the site as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
A Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway Order will be in place in the residential streets around Victoria Park, except for resident permit holders, between 9am and 1am, from Saturday 4 September to Monday 6 September.

Noise reporting
A designated resident’s number for any noise concerns has been set up with the event organiser. The resident’s hotline will be operational during the festival by calling 01925 873 090 or 01925 873 091.
Getting a taxi
If you hail a taxi from Warrington Central or Warrington Bank Quay train stations, or any other taxi rank in Warrington, then please check the fare displayed in the taxi and make sure that the meter is on and running – always stick to the price on the meter.
If you pre-book a taxi with a Warrington operator, you can negotiate and agree the fare with the operator beforehand. The taxi driver working for that operator must honour the pre-agreed fare.
If you need to complain about a Warrington taxi, or a fare you have been charged, please note the vehicle registration number, the taxi licence plate number and the driver’s ID badge number, and ask for a receipt. Issues can then be reported to us by emailing [email protected].
If you have used a taxi that is licensed in Halton, please contact Halton Borough Council. Remember to never use an unlicensed taxi.
Symptom-free testing
All festival-goers and staff should take regular symptom-free coronavirus tests to ensure you are not unknowingly spreading coronavirus.
The council’s Golden Square symptom-free testing site is open for tests and home test kit collection on weekdays, 11am to 5.30pm, and Saturdays, 9.30am to 3.30pm. You can also pick up a home test kit from participating pharmacies in Warrington.
You can order tests online or by calling 119, which will be delivered to your home. You can order one box per household each day and you need to be aged 18 or over to order to test via this service.
