A group of Royal Signals Bikers stopped off at Warrington Cenotaph during a tour of the country helping raise funds for veterans.
They were greeted at Warrington Cenotaph by local veterans campaigner Julie Francis, after enjoying a complimentary breakfast courtesy of Chester’s cafe on Chester Road.
They also met up with another Vets supporter, Cath Forster and her mini bedecked with Poppies and Tommy’s.
Julie said: “It was great to greet the lads on thier travels and a big thank you to Mandy for providing them with breakfast to help them on their travels for such a great cause.”
The Veterans had supposed to be riding from the Cenotaph in London to the Cenotaph in Gibraltar, but due to COVID restrictions had to change their plans.
Now they are riding their Honda CG125 around the UK visiting all UK Mainland capital city cenotaphs’ raising money for the Royal Signals Charity and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
They left the National Memorial Arboretum on August 7 and will arrive back on Saturday via Edinburgh and Cardiff and a few other places in between!
The four riders are David Old, Colin Skuse, Nick Vernon and Simon Dennison who are supporting serving/retd Royal Signals soldiers to keep heroes out of hardship.
