Motorcyclist taken to hospital following collision on Winwick Road

A motorcyclist who was involved in a one-vehicle collision on Winwick Road, Warrington, last night, was taken to hospital after being given first aid and oxygen at the scene by firefighters.

One crew from Birchwood attended at the scene shortly before 8.45pm following reports of a one vehicle collision involving a motorbike on the A49 Winwick Road near the junction of Cleveland Road.



On arrival, the crew provided first aid to the motorcyclist, a man, and administered oxygen.
He was then passed into the care of paramedics and taken to hospital.
The crew was in attendance for around 35 minutes.
