POLICE are stepping up patrols at another anti-social hot spot in Lymm village following reports of youths throwing items down a cliff face and drug abuse.
Officers have been patrolling a new anti-social behaviour hotspot area in the wooded area behind Lymm Tennis club with numerous reports of youths throwing items down the cliff face towards the village and also drug use.
Patrols will continue in the area.
It follows on from ongoing issues at nearby Slitten Brook in the village, where youths have been causing criminal damage.
There have also been more signs of activity in the area over the weekend.
Police are due to speak to the parents of youngsters who have been caught causing criminal damage in the area.
