POLICE have identified some of the youths involved in ongoing anti-social behaviour at historic Lymm beauty spot Slitten Brook.

More high visibility foot patrols are now taking place at Slitten Brook, close to Lymm village centre and police are working with other agencies, including Lymm Parish Council making the area more secure and trying to avoid the anti-social behaviour incidents in the area.

Local officers say they have identified some of the youths involved in criminal damage and will be speaking to parents and youths in the next week.
Local Cllr Ian Marks has welcomed the police activity saying; “The anti-social behaviour has been getting out of hand at Slitten Brook in recent weeks.
“The criminal damage is extremely disappointing, especially in such a historic area of the village. Local youngsters are also putting themselves and others in danger by their activities.”
