WARRINGTON’S Jaguar franchise has closed down, signposting customers to a dealership in Liverpool for ongoing servicing and product support.

The closure is understood not to be COVID-related and purely a business decision, with staff being transferred elsewhere in the group.

The neighbouring Rybrook Volvo franchise is unaffected.
The letters came out just a week before the dealership closed for the final time, yesterday, Wednesday, June 30.
In the letter to customers it stated: “After discussions with Jaguar Land Rover Limited, it was agreed that Rybrook’s Jaguar Franchise in Warrington would cease trading with effect from June 30.”
It also stated that Rybrook’s Jaguar and Land Rover businesses in Conwy, Huddersfield and Stoke are unaffected by the change.
Thanking their Warrington customers for their custom Rybrook says service and product support would be transferred to authorised Jaguar dealership, Hatfields Jaguar in Liverpool.
One disappointed customer said: “It is very disappointing to see the Warrington franchise close down and I certainly won’t be transferring my business to Liverpool.
“It is a sad day for Warrington to lose a prestigious brand like Jaguar.”
It’s uncertain what will happen with the vacant premises.
Rybrook Holdings Ltd is decsribed one of the largest privately-owned car dealer groups in the UK, with showrooms covering the North West, South Wales and the Midlands. They have individual dealerships representing most major specialist and luxury franchises, including Bentley, BMW, Jaguar, Lamborghini, McLaren, MINI, Land Rover, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Volvo.
