Warrington Town confirm departures ahead of pre-season

WARRINGTON Town have confirmed the departures of seven players ahead of the start of pre-season training this weekend.

Winger Jack Mackreth has signed an 18-month deal at Welsh Premier League side Bala Town, while Jack Dunn has joined National League North side Curzon Ashton.

Midfielder Charlie Munro is set to join National League side Southport, representing another player to jump up the leagues after a spell at Cantilever Park.

Defender Callum Grogan has opted to return to his former club Radcliffe.

Goalkeeper Charlie Albinson asked for a release shortly after the last game the club played, in the FA Trophy against Marske United in December.

Loanee Scott Brown, who was cruelly injured in the abandoned game against Buxton, returned to parent club Harrogate Town.

Veteran midfielder Michael Rose has also departed.
